What We Collect
Chain Hold'em collects minimal data by design:
- Wallet address — your Ethereum address, which is publicly visible on the blockchain by nature.
- Hand history — game actions, cards, and outcomes, stored in our database for provably fair verification and your play history.
- Browser locale — detected automatically for language preferences. Stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.
- Session token — a cryptographic token stored as a cookie for authentication. Expires after 24 hours.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Name, email, phone number, or any personal identification
- Government-issued documents or KYC data
- Precise geolocation
- Tracking cookies or third-party analytics
Blockchain Data
All deposits, withdrawals, and settlements are recorded on the Base L2 blockchain, which is public and permanent by design. Your wallet address and transaction history are visible to anyone via a block explorer. This is inherent to blockchain technology.
Infrastructure
The Platform is hosted on Cloudflare (Workers, Pages, D1). Cloudflare may process standard web request metadata (IP address, user agent) per their own privacy policy. We do not store IP addresses in our application database.
Third Parties
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, edge compute
- WalletConnect — wallet connection protocol (no data stored by us)
- Base / Coinbase — blockchain network
Data Retention
Hand history is retained for the lifetime of the service for provably fair verification. On-chain data (deposits, withdrawals, settlements) is permanent by nature of the blockchain. Session tokens expire after 24 hours and nonces after 5 minutes.
Your Rights
Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no PII to delete or export. Your wallet address is a pseudonymous public identifier. If you have questions or wish to make a data-related request, please contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
